i've used the same Hydor 200w ETH in-line heater on my ADA mini-L reef for a few months now, and i love it. it's huge outside of the tank, but its SO nice to not have an internal heater in the tank!...

yeah, i wouldve said echinodorus tennellus, the "chain sword" plant. there are a bunch of cultivars and stuff of it, like E. tennellus 'micro' and stuff.

as for the landscaping, i think #1 is the best. #s 2 and 3 would get to look too linear, like a hedge or something, IMO.
