I just bought 2- 2" Chinese Algae Eaters for my 37G aquarium but I don't have any Algae yet. I'm just not sure how often I should toss a Algae wafer in. Anyone know how much they need to eat?

I'm not an expert on this matter, just trying to help out. But wet clay mixed with sand sounds like a very tightly packed mixture to me. Maybe the roots need a little room?

I just don't understand people. In a few weeks people will pay $60 for a crappy tree that will last 5 days before it dies, but they don't want to pay $10 dollars for a plant they can have for years...
