i think you would cut up the 10x10 into 2cm...

i think you would cut up the 10x10 into 2cm squares and then plant that. you would have a really tough time keeping a 10x10 mat down that had not rooted in your tank..

Get a cheap plastic comb and cut it to size. Put it as far back on the outlet as you can, so they can still crawl up and eat the stuff growing there, but not get into the filter itself..

they are active but not like danios, and when they get to breeding size, the males will flash anything :D
