Of all my tanks the 2.5g is by far the most challenging. Good luck.

Cut the light cycle to 6-7 hours and try to raise the light some.

It costs money to be lazy , if you don't want to turn it on and off by hand every day you would have to get an electric 110v high pressure valve and run it on a timer, I'm not sure if it will work on...
