Common mistake, you need to get a thicker tubing or you can get a tube insert. It can bent a little bit but it shouldn't be as twisted as your pic.

I think that is one of GLA's main selling point, the fact that you won't need to replace any of the components. If it's NPT ports they're using (highly likely) then it's actually easier to replace...
