jungle val melt after furan + salt?

I first tried aquarium salt.
Spoke w/ my LFS and they recommended furan based on the pic...

Noticed this on one of my flame gourami
Have three other gourami and a mix of other fish and none are affected
The affected fish is behaving and feeding normally

"Batch Mixing" ferts

I use seachem fertilizers- Comprehensive, Trace, and Fe.

Anyone know if it is OK to premix them into one solution, instead of drawing from each bottle to add one at a time?
I'd like to make one...

I boiled my wood twice, soaked it for a few days, and still have had to do water changes for tannins. In a way it has a natural look to it, but not nice enough to keep it.....

My 55 is fully cycled and ready. I like the look of HC and want to establish it as a ground cover. Substrate is flourite.

I've read the threads here re lighting. My tank has a 48" wood canopy...
