Those ceramic diffusers have a 35psi minimum working pressure I believe. So start from there and work your way up till you find what you like.

I believe 35 psi is the minimum pressure needed for some those diffusers. Try turning up the psi a bit more.

Thanks for the info. Just got my reg in the mail today and have it hooked up for testing. Yeah the gauges are 2.5" so I'll go with the 2.5" nipple. Thanks Alan.

Most people just use timers and a drop checker. If your into diy you can part together a good dual stage system for under $150 out the door for everything. They are easy to assemble and fun to build....

The new 24/7 is dimable so you can make it as bright or as low as you want. I think it would be perfect. You will just have to raise the light off the tank to get a full coverage.
