DIY CO2 is setup, foolishly used silicone sealant for the tubes, they leaked, tore it all off and hot glued it. Now pushing 1bps, just waiting for the pressure to build up to diffuse into the tank....

I just set up a DIY system and was wondering if putting the diffuser in the back filtration compartment would be ok? Would love to keep the tank looking tidy without anything in the main compartment....

what kind of lighting do you have? the DHG may not be getting enough...

sorry didn't realize the OP was old haha, you may need to contact breeders or look on aquabid to find a female double tail, I don't think I've ever seen one at a pet store or LFS.
