I would keep an eye on this tank filled with water. Since you had this tank in the early 90's I would assume it's been seasoned and the seams might be showing it's age especially without the braces.

Misinformation spreads fast over the internet and something can be misconstrued. Anubias has always been safe in my shrimp tank over many cuts and trimmings.

Could be another female. They don't have to mate to become gravid I believe. The mating happens right before the female deposits the eggs.

Nice little shrimp tank you have going. You have cherry shrimp not crystal red shrimp. That big one looks like a low grade fire red and the rest are regular cherry grade.
