I would salt the tank or move it to a qt and salt it. One of my fish had something like that and it got bigger until I threw some salt in and it healed

I got one in a little tank by itself. Seemed like a strong enough swimmer but found him sucked into the filter. I just got another one after putting a prefilter on and hes doing pretty good.

If its dwarf red lily then they don't get too big imo. I have three or four that only take up about half the surface of a 10 g. The fish like swimming around in their roots and stems.
