It is a good thing really because in all likelihood you would get hybrids in a mixed tank of rainbows... not that they are likely to survive the adult bows even without roselines in there.

Yeah, I do breed rainbowfish and there are quite a few growing out in there, although it is pretty deep front to back and the fish always come to the front when they see a person... always hungry heh.

Been away a while, a little update. It has grown in heavily and I recently changed the substrate at the front, this needs the plants to grow in around it, so hopefully it will improve. At the moment...

I have C.siamensis and C.reticulatus some of which are now over 6 years old in my 400 gallon. I find them peaceful, they should really be kept in groups, i have not had any trouble....
