I have 1 30w citizen 5000k over a 10g (20x10x10 or whatever) and I run it at about 10w.. Which gives me the same par as 1 24" T5HO with reflector. I have the LED mounted on a computer CPU heatsink...

Thanks, I made 3 like this (2 for a friend) and they really pack a punch. I can put >500 PAR on the sand in the corners of that tank. 15x15x13.5 and the light is like 8" over the water. Obviously I'm...

I don't have a copy of the datasheet but I believe the standard 50w they do is 25 x 3w bridgelux chips, so it should be good to 75w if you want to drive the balls off it. I'm curious as to the...

Have you checked into using some 8 or 10" PVC? A lot of times you can snag a 1-3' piece from a sewer/water job site for the asking, then all you would need is end caps. You could also make end plates...

Problem is, epoxy doesn't bond to acrylic, the best you can do with it is a mechanical fit but that won't seal all that well long-term. Epoxy also doesn't bond to vinyl or whatever thermoplastic they...
