Is this an egg?
I just spotted a small cloudy sphere, like an egg, on my red ludwigia! Is this an egg? i only see one. The tank inhabitants are 4 ember tetras.

Flourite problem?
I recently bought a bag of flourite for my 10 gallon planted tank, and forgot to wash it, so it turned my water completely brown, so i emptied it and washed it, I spent about 5 hours trying to clear...

thats what saddens me, I think more pet stores...
thats what saddens me, I think more pet stores should ask the customer what size tank, water params, etc before they sell them the fish, like pacus, many people have no idea of their eventual size.

They are probably Indian whisker shrimp (Macrobrachium sp., probably M. lamarrei lamarrei). These shrimp are about 2.5 inches in size. Easy-to-keep, they should be kept in moderately hard (110 ppm)...
