I honestly have no idea how to calibrate it. You can probably find a manual online. I'd guess that you have to put it in a solution of fluid with a known TDS, and turn a dial somewhere on the meter...

I'm running a similar system with a Jehmco pump. That pump was one of the best aquarium related purchases I've made.
