My turtles love water lettuce, and dwarf water lettuce. When it gets too thick in my aquariums/ ponds, I throw them in the turtle pond and they eat most of them by the next morning.

Looks awesome. I've never seen fissidens so lightly colored before. I tied some to a regular branching stick from the yard before but my shrimp ate the thin limbs on it so it fell apart lol.

Your cherry shrimp will definitely help with some of the algae. The only algae my cherry shrimp ignore is the stringy hair algae that gets in my moss. I want to try Amano shrimp later.
