Give them a rough rinse and they should be good. It is normal. I have my 250ml bag in my 40g for the past 2 years. It might need a recharge but my water still clean so I think I'm good for now.

Ummmmm.... The desk lamp that you can buy from Walmart for like....10bucks and put a 13w 6500k or even 2500k would do... Set the neck closer or further to the tank surface based on plants and algae...

I don't think this is on sell. And no it is not a 50G, a standard 50G is 36x18x18, and a standard 65 tall is 36x18x24. I have never seen one with 36x18x20 unless you custom build one.
