i i have saw lots of tanks now with the dark substrate and the white river going in between the 2 halfs of of dark substrate

what kind of sand is this


can it be done with florite

Best sand IMO is pool filter sand. Inexpensive and easy to work with because of the grain size.

could i buy it at walmart my grandma gave me 50 bucks for walmart so i am going to get some supplies there

and please post pics of your sand rivers

can u use marine sand(its basically pool sand)

could i use plastic gutter to divide the sand and florite from eachother

The first question was answered in your another thread.

You can use any material thats readily available to you for the divider. Its temporary and removed before water is added. Just be creative.
