Hey guys, Crown Point, IN here. New to fresh water so hopefully some local people can help me out here. Does anyone know of any local clubs too?
Thanks, Otto |
Hi everyone. I'm also in Crown Point IN. :)

Hello. I live in Demotte, IN when I'm not at Purdue. The only LFS i go to up there is The Ark in I believe Schererville. Does anyone know of any better?
|
Hi. I'm in Michigan City. I love The Ark. It's in Merrillville.
|
Haha I live in Hammond, and I also frequent The Ark, also Exotic Aquatics in Highland, and a few other I can't remember =/
|
I used to live in Portage. I used to live right by the IMAX movie theater there. I have a friend who lives in Michigan City that I visit every once in a while. I grew up in northeast Indiana but lived in the northwest area for a couple years.

i live in Portage - i have had 2 successful reef tanks for the past 2 years. I have recently decided to jump into FW planted - currently looking at an empty canvas (50 gal qtr cylinder) i would like to make a few visits and gather a little experience from local folks. Coming from a world where light and flow are king i see i have alot to learn.:icon_bigg

Hello I'm from highland, must say the Ark is the best.
|
I'm in Griffith and have had many great experiences at The Ark. Terry's Aquarium is also a great place that occasionally gets in some oddball species.
|
Demotte here but I literally just started thinking about doing planted tanks so I wouldn't really say it is a hobby yet. Just aquariums in general and I'm trying to expand to more interesting tanks.

Hi evryone I am origanlly from Tipton IN and I now live in Arlington TX. I just wanted to try and stay in touch with other planted tanks people in IN. I did exstinsive collecting while I lived in the Hoosier state so if anyone needs help in finding somthin in the wild please let me know. I miss the 90 degree days, cause it's 108 here. There is a great amount of wild life in the Hoosier state, that can be of use to the planted tank person. I am planning on a May trip to Tipton to visit friens and also collect some plants. Look forward to hearing from everyone.
