Roberts Oxygen, they generally exchange tanks, check the phone book for your local outlet. I exchange 20#'s for $23 or so.
Maryland Fire Extinguishers, (I think) in Rockville, will fill while you wait. Little more expensive than Roberts is, now, used to be cheaper.

I'm a newbie in the Southern Maryland area. I live in Hollywood and work at the Navy base. Seems quite far to anywhere from here.

There is a Robert's Oxygen at 355 and Redland Road. Hang a right on Redland (coming from rockville) and it is the second or third driveway on your left.

Was at Maryland Fire Extinguishers, Rockville last week to refill a 5lb tank, they charged me $25 for the refill. Does anybody know of any cheaper options in and around Gaithersburg/Rockville?

F&M Fire Protection - Hyattsville
I just called them and they will sell me a reconditioned 10# aluminum for $90 filled. $20 for refills while you wait. Is this a good deal? Roberts wanted $157 for a steel tank and $22 for swapped refills. If I could find a used tank I would use Roberts as they are more convenient but it looks like I'll need to buy one so refills while I wait is the way to go. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks In Advance for any help!

google maryland fire equipment corporation (im a noob and cant post links)

its just off of parklawn in Rockville.... walk around the left driveway to the office door.

its like 25 or so for a 10lb cylinder... takes a few minutes but they do a good job and you keep your cylinder.
