I just ordered a bunch of plants for my 20gal tank, and also a 24" JBJ 65W Light. The problem is a started out with standard ugly blue aquarium gravel. The tank has been running nicely with about a dozen fish for the past two months. I also have a penguin 125 filter.

So if i were to change the gravel for a more suitable medium for live plants, how would i go about it, with the least trauma to the fish?
