Plastic Craft Mesh question

Hi all, does Plastic Craft Mesh good to use as tank divider in water for the long term run? I am worry because it is plastic type? Will this good for water/fishes?

^Perfectly safe^

I would use egg crate depending on the fish size. It will allow more water flow through the holes.

I use it just fine for my betta tank. You do need to secure it though since it will float.

what about screening like screen door or patio screening (sorry not trying to jack the thread but figured it went along with the subject)

If you get the pet-screen stuff, it should be fine, that's just polyester strands.

Avoid the aluminum, and I'm not certain about the fiberglass - I don't know if there are any additives to it or anything (I remember bugs chewing on it when I was a kid, so I'm not sure if some types have something added to prevent that)
