Hey Guys I just set a fluval edge 6 gal tank for shrimps and tiny killifish!
I d love to get you feedback and suggestions about the landscape! :biggrin:

The white sand might not be that great for shrimps, they like to bend in and with white sand they will fade a bit in color

Yea unfortunately I am realizing that... I was thinking to put a layer of black sand on the white sand.. What do you think? or maybe some river gravel..

Mud it! Mix 1/4 soil and 3/4 black Eco/fluorite/sand or what ever you find! The. Cap it! Soil will produce sufficient nutrients for your plants and stabilize your tank! Personal opinion... Paint the back black and everything else pops out more! Nice looking scape.

What you mean 1/4 soil?? Soil from the ground?? Or the one for potting plants?

Liked the idea to make a little terrace with the pink stone on the left.. I also added the fluval edge mini CO2 system which works fine...

You can use that soil as long as it hasn't been treated for pesticides. Just organic miracle grow will do the trick or any organic soil
