T5 28 watt 4 Foot Fluro

Hey guys,

What are the best T5 28 Watt fluorescents to use for planted tanks??

These are a 4 foot bulb and I am thinking of upgrading the ballasts so that I can use a 55Watt bulbs as I am having trouble finding good T5 28Watt tubes..

Does anyone know of a good electronic ballest to use?

I have heard that Osram make a good T5 tubes.

you can never go wrong with osram when it comes to lighting. they make some of the best and most true colored bulbs. coralife also makes some nice t5s. im very happy with mine as long as their 6700K doesnt yellow/green out like their power compacts do.

I use and have both 54watt and 28 watt T5's, just ask for daylight tubes from a lighting store.
Here's a pic with the details

Does anyone know of a good Osram electronic ballist for T5's?

Dont buy Osram ballasts, they put out heaps of electrical interfearance that screw with your TV reception. (the ones I had did anyway)
I highly recomend Workhorse Ballasts. www.fulham.com
