Attaching fissidens to wood
 

I'm getting a golf ball worth of fissidens, so I assume it won't be in a nice mat or anything. I want to attach it to a piece of mopani driftwood. What is the best way to attach it? Glue, thread, plastic mesh, something else?

Super glue gel or cotton thread of some sort.

I have some growing attached to wood and I don't know how I did it (I had some in SS mesh I just placed on top.. I though it had died, so I removed the mesh, and a few weeks later I had new fissidens sprouting up along the edges of where the mesh was).. I have another batch in another tank that I tied down with string that I am hoping takes hold.
