Reactivating Website Blog

I have neglected updating for a long time, but intend to now update the blog on the Riparium Supply site at least a couple of times a week...just have to remember.

I just added a new post and here is the link...

Your blog has been very useful!

I suggest writing an article full on Trelis Raft management! (tips, best practices, getting thick growth, planting etc). I'm still trying to manage my bacopa and figure out what the puzzle piece is for. ;)

I like cosm3's idea! It would be nice to learn more about the trelis rafts and plants used for them.

I am about to put some planters in with my fish so now I can use the rafts! (before I just had them with my turtles, and they would eat any plant matter they could grab, so I couldn't use the trelis.)

Thank! Maybe I will make this the next post. Did you guys read the last one about my bonsai riparium?

Hey hydrophyte, I'd just suggest you change your permalinks from being p=1207 etc to a post name / date structure. This can be changed in your settings section on your blog. Doing this will help people know specifically what your blog post is about and is great for your SEO. My 2 cents!

Thanks. That's a good tip.

I see that that link is actually broken. The post is still there on the site(??). I think I probably need to update WordPress again.

You're welcome :)

When I went to it last night it was a dead link, after you update your permalinks you need to update the .htaccess in your ftp, then it will resolve properly.

Yep, I read about the Bonsai riparium. I'm waiting to see more updates about that too!

;)

Yep, interesting concept. Anyone know the function of the puzzle peice?

Thanks again. I still need to get back in there and update those things.

I'll try to post more soon. The tank still needs fish and a better setup for photography. The plants all look good! I am very happy with the cypress tree and I hope that I can keep it healthy long-term. Here is a quick shot I got the other day with a black background...

Luis that trellis raft puzzle piece is just intended to provide a little more buoyancy and another hole for planting stem plants. You can remove it if you want the the plants to stay nice and tight against the planter.
