Seeking inspiration...
 

I broke down my tank over the holidays and restarted it from the ground up a few week later. The original idea was to create an Amazon River biotope but it became clear to me that with a low light setup I would be restricted in the plants I can put in the tank. While the biotope was still an idea, some of the plants in the tank are not from that region and I'm ok with that.

I however feel like the tank could use something to perk it up and I just don't know what that could be. Here's how it looks now, in the early stages of a fishless cycle (follow the link in my sig). There are 3 pieces of driftwood in there now and some small rocks. I'm looking to add stuff that doesn't cost too much money and that would add a new level of umpf to the tank. Any recommendations are welcome.
