Look at these legs! And more

Hi all. Here is a nice leg comparison pic
http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/f...pse6589b75.jpg

Red Wines and Ruby Reds don't have quite the 100% leg coloring that their black and white variations have. The CRS hybrid (second from right) really does have more solid leg coloring than the Wine Red shrimp (middle of picture). Those those shrimp are adult sized.

Here are a few more pics:

Here is a nice pile of shrimp. The shrimp are feasting on hair algae taken out of another tank.

Here is a really nice CRS (not PRL). Culling goes a long way.

Here is a nearly flawless CBS hybrid. The colors really do look that good in real life.

What are the blue and black ones in the background of the first pic? You've got some nice shrimp. :)

I think they're Shadow Pandas, a variety of Taiwan Bee.

Wow. Speechless. Are all of those CRS on the Marimo mat?
Food or naturally?

No crs do not eat hair algae, I do not think any shrimp do in this hobby

I think amanos do, no?

I just read "The shrimp are feasting on hair algae taken out of another tank. " and maybe I read that the wrong way. LOL I was a bit incredulous.

Are the CRS in the second picture ebitens?

sbarbee54 02-08-2013 05:18 PM

Think they are just cleaning the biofilm off it. i think he said none are PRL, he had just done allot of culling

CRS really do eat green hair algae sometimes. The algae was gone in the morning. The shrimp in the tank where the algae was growing were not interested in it though.

AquaticStory, the pic with the pile of shrimp is a mix of CRS and hybrids.
