If i wanted 5 bags of flourite which are 15 lbs a bag, how much would it cost for the shipping based on weight that is added to the base shipping?

The shipping charge for one bag of flourite about 3 months ago from BigAl's for me was $7.07. I live in the mid-Hudson valley. I believe they are in NY and ship from the Buffalo area (I'm guessing here). If you order online, they will call you and confirm the extra shipping charge and give you an opportunity to cancel the flourite/onyx or gravel from your order at that time.

I think it was around 12 quid (2 bags) when I ordered it.. to michigan. Definately worth since only one place I could find carried it and they wanted almost 30 quid per bag.

They won't ship to AU. And if they did you would be better off using a cheaper substrate, like gold or diamonds. The shipping costs would eat you up. As I recall someone in AU had found a source of Flourite there.

Hehe, that would make for a gorgeous tank but I don't think the plants would do very well. :D
