Lunar lighting. Good or bad?
 

I have the marina brand blue lunar leds in my tank. It's only 3 LEDs but it illuminates the whole tank my question is will this hurt my plants? Because they never get there perfect dark to end their photoperiod? My surge protector has built in day and night timers so I have it in the night timer but other than that there's no way to have them on for a little while then off all on its own. So I'm hoping its not a problem and I'm over thinking this.

Next time during the waxing lunar cycle peaking with the full moon, go outside and observe the level of illumination of the landscape. Waxing lunar light even at full moon isn't bright enough to cause photosynthesis. Lunar light isn't blue [that's just marketing ] by the way, it's white. Fauna need a period of darkness too, just like all diurnal life forms do.
