OEBT x with CRS
Just wondering if anyone has experience making tibees from this cross. I have some down time with school and work so I was going to make it a mini venture since my only OEBT female is berried right now. Pictures would help as google yielded nothing too helpful and I love the first hand experience and guidance. Just FYI it is a male OEBT and female CRS

Well just to update I decided to add the female CRS a week ago and this morning I woke up, turned the lights on and just caught this in the corner of my eye... Attachment 127361 she's in a tank that houses only rili and OEBT so I'm very excited to work on creating my own tibee line this summer.

Just remember you aren't going to see any good results/coolness til F2.

It's all a crapshoot what patterns you wind up with. You should cross F1 to F1 or F1 back to the parents to start seeing results. Otherwise just grab a bunch of stuff and see what happens. I have a tibee tank myself:) It will take you a lot longer than 'this summer' to create a line though. ;) Think more in 'years'.

Oh yes. All my babies are gosh, 3 months old and still juvies. Probably another 2-3 months before they're breeding size. Mine are bumble bee x super tiger crosses third generation. Have oebts and CBS in there as well but no breeding so going to tweak parameters this weekend and try to get some excitement happening:)

http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/sh...ighlight=tibee I have one in there I put a photo up of that has zebra striping and white dots on his head and he is still holding that pattern and really bada$$ looking. Once they reach adulthood I'm hoping the ones that are blue right now will remain that way. I've got two tanks just waiting for a reason to be used for selective breeding:) If I have enough blue and whites, I'll be breeding them back to one another in one tank and have been entertaining the idea of crossing them with Royal Blue Tigers and Goldens in the other so I can track the crosses of those as well. But we'll see:) |

Alright, the girl has been berried for just over a week and the breeder box I ordered came in so I was able to get her while she was out in the open and put her into the box. Attachment 132058
