Premixing dry ferts versus dropping straight into tank
 

Is there any advantage or disadvantage to premixing dry ferts versus pouring them straight into the tank?

All ends on who you talk to :-)
I like to mix them with distiller water. It allows me to make minor changes in ml. I do not think I could do this as well dry.

Either is fine; use whatever is more convenient for you.

I like wet dosing because I don't like opening multiple containers.

I also like wet dosing because I can use an automatic doser.

Either way works....really depends on your setup and what you like to do.

I like dosing dry. I have a locking hobby organizer from Joanns. Looks kind of like a 14 day pill organizer old people use lol, only this one locks closed so it doesn't dump on accident. I can measure out 2 weeks worth at one time. I find it the easiest method.
