Coral in my Freshwater tank???

Looks like a bunch of little blue corals growing on the tips of my Eleocharis Japan.
I'm pretty sure it's staghorn though...
Time to start googling how to treat this stuff before it takes over!

That doesn't look quite like staghorn, or any other algae I've seen either. Almost looks fungal.

Fungal?
Oh Man!
What do I do??

try spot dosing excel or H2O2.
should kill most algae, if it is algal. and it will not kill e. belem - i tried. :)

I have the same type too, it's all over my dwarf hair grass that I got it from petsmart.

Not sure if I will do it just yet since it's my Corydoras Hastatus tank that the plants are in.
