So do you think baby Killifish would eat baby shrimps?
I discovered a few weeks ago that I had a couple of baby Killifish living in my planted Taiwan bee tank. They are growing good and occassionally I will see them at the surface swimming around the riccia and floating plants.
Well tonight I saw them again, and then some more of them....YUP seems I have another 2 babies now making 4 in this tank.
I am wondering how many more there are in there that have been hiding :icon_frow Could they be snacking on any baby shrimps? I have never seen any sign of my baby Crystal Whites, and I know the Mamma and Pappa are still there (I saw both tonight) but never spotted a baby anywhere.
However considering how hard it is to spot the adults because of their almost transparent bodies, there may be baby ones living/hiding in this tank...but if not could they have been eaten by these baby Killies?
I wouldn't be surprised if the Killies are eating your baby shrimp. Baby shrimp are tiny so they are game for almost any fish...even to baby fish.
Being that this is your Taiwan Bee tank, I would definitely not risk it. Heck, a taiwan bee can be 30-100 bucks so that would make it a very expensive snack.
