Looking for low-mid light slow growers
Like the title says looking for a few slow growers to fill my 2.5g. Let me know what you have. Thanks JP
I guess crypt is too big. Staurogyne repens should do well.
I find stauro repens to be a largish plant that wouldnt scale well in a small tank.
Go with smaller crypts like petchii, willisii, or lucens.
Yeah I already have a bunch of crypts in the tank already but it's not appealing to look at.
I like how hm looks and it does fine in low light, just doesn't grow horizontal unless under high light
Java fern, anubias are slow growers.
I mean I cleaned out the tank and everything and replanted everything. I wouldn't mind trying out some hm. Is it hard to maintain?
Any other suggestions for stems like any rotala?
Never came across with any slow growing rotala except true Rotala indica. I doubt it will do well in low tech though unless you got soil, maybe, never tried. I still would go with s. repens, you can also try Hygro sp 'araguaia', may work.
Hygro sp 'araguaia' will work but the growth will be Green long slender leaves.. DHG and Erios parkeri are another sp. that will work ~~ No Rotala will grow in low tech in long term with out co2.
