Bettas and cories

Could a school of corydoras habrosus be kept in a tank with female bettas?

Second question,
10g gallon tank
filter:penguin 150b
stocking idea
5x female bettas
2x otos
4x corydoras habrosus

All comments are appreciated

From what I have seen, Bettas and cories are usually okay together

fishkeeper01 12-13-2012 04:30 AM

is the stocking ok?

That arrangement should work.

Just make sure you feed the Corydoras & otos @ night.

Introduce the bettas LAST.

What kind of plants are you planning to put in there?

Stocking looks okay too

I think they will be perfectly fine. I feed my cory & betts nls sinking pellets & they always eat together

If you're not trying to breed the corydoras habrosus they should be fine together.

A ten gallon seems kinda small for that many bettas, make sure you plants lots of plants to make it very dense, or try a twenty long =] you will probably want to make it bigger in the future anyway!

Best of luck....and make a journal =]
