Where to find Christmas moss in SoCal stores?
 

Does anyone know where to buy
Christmas moss in SoCal? I'm trying
to make a good low maintence carpet,
and people told me java moss is hard
to work with. If no one knows of a place,
what would you recommend for an outdoor
tank, no co2, and no fertilizers? Also,
I can't order online sadly. :(

i think there are a few store in LA/ Santa monica area? im not sure though...anyways dwarf sag and val are both really good plants that need little to no attention and i think annubius but i havent really done anything with that plant before. but sag and val will grow pretty well.

CK Aquarium (I believe in West Covina) and A+ Tropical (Temple City) are two stores that you are likely (almost guaranteed) to carry (or get) Xmas moss. Now remember that planted tanks stock up based on what sells - moreso than other kinds of pet stores (or stores in general).

I suggest that you call whichever store is closer and ask them to order some (make sure you ask for the price before you ask them to order some in). I fear that if you were just to visit the store, they may not have it at that time.

Tong's in Fountain Valley usually carries several types of moss, I got my xmas moss from them.

Yea I'm going to Tong's, btw do they have
shrimps? I'll be going tomorrrow :)

Tongs had cherry, CRS, tigers and amanos when I went in today.

Well I went today and they didn't have any christmas
moss. :(
So disappointed.
