Anything (or anyone) near the Monterey/Santa Cruz area?
 

I've been struggling to find any decent fish stores with even a decent plant selection or fish selection.

Anyone know of any in the area? I'd prefer not to have to go to SF for this stuff :(

Otherwise I guess I'll have to turn to the SnS on this site.

shoot... I was just in SC yesterday to drop off my girlfriend. I live in San Jose and I have some moss and some stems if you want. Theres also neptune aquatics by my house. They have an awesome selection of plants and livestock.

Thanks for the thought Jonny. Another member also mentioned Neptune Aquatics. Milpitas isn't close but if I combine my plant/fauna needs I can manage a trip out there.

I'm just used to having a solid LFS when I lived in So Cal. Santa Cruz just isn't big enough.

I am afraid you will have to just bite the bullet and make the trip north. There are several stores in the San Jose area, and a bit farther north into Albany (Albany Aquarium) or SF (Several stores).

Yup! I'll have to consolidate all my aquarium needs into infrequent trips. Gone are the days where I can forget things and conveniently trot over to the LFS lol. At least for now :P
