30 Gallon Long - Shattered Bog
 

Hi TPTPeople,
Just got started on a 30g long tank - working on the hardscape right now.

I have a 20g below that I plan to use as a sump filter / shrimp tank. On this lower rack I am also currently storing my 5g DWC hydroponic lettuce grow - if I could integrate this into the sump and form an aquaponic setup I'd be pretty excited. Additionally, I would love to plant some pothos / moss / anubias above the water level.

The tank will have a 130 watt coralife freshwater lamp suspended ~3.5' above the tank and will receive natural morning light for 2-3 hours. I plan to grow mostly crypts / java ferns / wisteria, but will also be trying some higher light species.

Substrate will be natural soil capped with gravel and play sand.
