Fish eating shrimp?

Hello,
I receintly set up a 6 gallon edge aquarium. I did a fish less cycle. Tank would go from 5 ppm ammonia to 0 in 12 hours without a nitrite spike. I placed 6 cherry shrimp and 6 boraras. I have been testing the parameters daily for 2 weeks. All is normal. My partner placed 2 very large blueberry shrimp in the aquarium. Testing still normal. The fish have now disappeared one by one. The blueberries are very food aggressive, stealing from other shrimp. Could they have eaten my boraras?

Shrimp won't eat your fish unless they're already dead.

Are you using a pre-filter sponge? If not, some fish like Boraras brigittae can get sucked into your filter.

Thanks for responding
I don't have a pre filter, however I have watched the shrimp and fish hang around intake with out getting sucked in. All was well for two weeks, maybe the new bio-load overloaded the bio filter causing fish death? I am going to add the pre filter like you suggest and wait two weeks and see if I can get more boraras.

How large is very large? Any pictures? "Blueberry" usually refers to one of a number of Asian Caridina, but if these are somehow Macrobrachium (which you can instantly tell apart from atyids from the fact that they'll have visible pincers), then predation on fish is a possibility.

Is it possible the fish jumped out of the tank? I lost several neon tetras that way recently, and somehow kept overlooking their little bodies...

Thanks for the replies,
These Blueberries are about an inch long and there pincers look like those of a cherry shrimp their same size. My fish where about 0.5 inches. The blueberries are more active than the other shrimp and do bully the other shrimp but do no damage. The top is secure so I am thinking that they may have been sucked up as Somewhatshocked suggested. I have now placed a pre-filter and if all goes well get some boraras urophthalmoides as the stay smaller than other Boraras species.
