Can someone make extender brackets or some way to raise the light ?

What kind of power cord is that coming down the light? It looks flat.

It's an extension chord. My outlet is rather far away from the tank.

Yes, I had just placed it in the tank not 5 minutes before the photo. I'll have to see where it is when I get home after having the co2 running for a few hours and make my adjustments from there.

What type of metal are these made from? Do you think it could possibly corrode from humidity over time?

They are made from aluminum which is quite resistant to corrosion. Over a long enough time I sure some corrosion would occur, but they should be just fine for many years.

What sized rods are they? 3/32"?
