I'll be there! Wanna meet up?

spacecat9 11-09-2012 09:36 PM

Yea I'd love to meet up. Ill probably get there around 1030 or 11 and Ill be wearing a tshirt with grizzly bears on it.

HighDesert 11-10-2012 05:32 AM

Great! I'll be wearing a green t-shirt with butterflies. Not sure what Scott will wear...

I've got a busy day, but i am in search of EBRs. Hmm...

ZLogic 11-10-2012 04:27 PM

They called it African Madness. Quite a few plecos, a few shrimp, couple of Kribs, but mostly Africans and equipment.

If your not able to get some EBF's (electric blue rams?) at the auction, Catfish Charlie's has some in stock, they looked pretty darn healthy when I was there last week.

Where is Catfish Charlie's at and i don't reckon you remember how much they were asking?

spacecat9 11-10-2012 10:20 PM

Yea kind of disappointing for me, seeing as I was hoping to score some SA/CA cichlids...o well there's always next time.

Does anyone know what the he** a "blue crystal shrimp" is? I bought some (most of them were dead... big disappointment), thinking they were crystal black shrimp with an off-name. What ones are still living look like a fairly pale, non-descript neo-type shrimp. Could they be blue velvets or something of the like?

The little plecos I got are gorgeous, though! Lots of nice plecos. Missed the two lots of Kribs.

I only stuck around for an hour or so...I got there at 1030 and looked through the fish bags but mostly saw african cichlids so around noon I bounced out. My favorite thing was those orange lobsters haha.

BruceF 11-11-2012 02:29 PM

Some pricey fish there! Tremendous selection if you are into cichlids.

Torsionpain 11-11-2012 03:17 PM

I agree, lots of cichlids and Plecos. I got the first Apistogrammas and got out of there before the snow got to bad to drive back to Cheyenne.
