Hi All,
One week from tomorrow, on Wednesday November 14th, doors open at 6:30 and auction begins at 7:00PM. At our last plant auction we auctioned over 500 bags of plants, freshwater shrimp, and fish - many varieties that you don't find at the local aquarium shops. You do not want to miss this event! |
Hi All,
This Wednesday night! Our last plant auction had 500 items sold in about 3 hours; don't miss out! |
Had a blast tonight! :)
Roy, were you by chance the auctioneer in the kilt and fish hat? |

Great auction everyone! I bought WAY too many plants and have to figure out where to put them all! :confused1: I am happy with the selection I did get though and looking forward to seeing what I can do with them, lots of new species for myself. |
I'd've been there if I didn't have to work. :-(

Hi All,
Thank you all for helping to support your local aquarium club! Thanks to our over 140 guests and members that attended last night, GSAS had our most successful aquarium plant (and fish) auction ever - with over 600 plants and fish auctioned in a little under 4 hours. The auction helps GSAS fund the excellent, knowledgeable, world recognized speakers we bring to the Northwest (Ad Konings; Chuck Rambo; Oliver Lucanus; Tom Barr; Karen Randall; Gary Lange; Christel Kasselmann) and share with our community several times a year. Our speaker meetings are open to all; please check us out at GSAS.org. Thanks everyone! -Roy @bluestems - LOL! I'm glad you had a good time! No, that was Phil our 'Iron Man' auctioneer; my legs aren't that good! @Jubs - sounds like an excuse for another tank Jubs! @Rob in Puyallup - maybe next time Rob; April's big auction is on a Saturday |
LOL Roy, I have another one ready to go I just don't have the equipment for it yet, trying to figure out lighting and filtration still.
