New terrariums - would like some input
 

Hi there,

Spotted some humidity-loving plants on clearance at Lowe's last weekend and decided to try my hand at two terrariums (because it was difficult to find a container large enough to fit both). Picked up some inexpensive cookie jars and Target and went to work. Pic is attached. I like the look, but I think I may have added too much soil. Thoughts? Plant on the left is a purple waffle, on the right is a polka-dot plant. Both are of course, nurse-lings.

Maybe a little to much soil, but they still look good.:)
