I'm guessing that a phone call to Petco, might answer the question.

Unfortunately, I heard that it will never happen due to shipping prices to Hawaii Petco stores :(

yup...i checked out petco the last time they had $1/gal sale. they had a sign that said excludes hawaii next to the tanks.
