anyone know local plant gathering laws
 

Snuck off from work yesterday to smoke a cigarette at the park. While i was there, i stumbled upon some hairgrass, dwarf hair grass some elodea i think as well as a few others i can't identify yet.. can i gather any of these? Should i just go pick up a new fishing liscence and tell anyone who asks that i thought water plants counted too?

Edit: i found a thicket of DHG .75 to 1.35inches.. full enough to carpet a 20 long, easy.. a thinner patch of what appears to be regular hairgrass, sits about 6 inches high..... I've never been a fan of eleocharis sp. but you can't beat free..
