Schuber Wright Safari +6 Gallon Combo?
 

Currently the Safari features a true AC bulb in an actinic blue screw in base. Bulb has won a National Innovative Award for being true AC, meaning no need for a ac/dc converter: meaning less heat extending the bulb life, no transformer (most LEDs last as long as they claim, but the components ie transformer/driver parts fail much quicker than the LED), and since there's no wasteful wattage going through various ac/dc components, more total output of the 4 watts. Hence it winning such an award!

We are in the process of developing a 8,000k daylight bulb; 4w & 10w. I'd like to hear your thoughts on how attractive this setup looks.

The clamp looks a bit bulky, but certainly wouldn't get in the way of anything, but other than that this looks awesome! I like the idea of not have a large strip of lights covering the top.

How wide are the lights with regard to angle of coverage?

The height and forward/aft position of the light looks adjustable, but how about the angle (eg. can they be adjusted like a ballhead on a tripod)?

Nice to finally get an explanation for what the AC feature of the bulbs is.

I had noticed it in the product description for the lights and while I know what AC and DC stand for I didn't put the pieces together to figure out that it ran off of straight AC.

Any type of PAR data or light coverage (spread) data available?

Color Matching the Nylon Screws or replacing them with Nylon Tipped Screws with powder coated heads would be nice.
