For sale: February 16, 2012- Amano sale!

Thing are starting to get cooler! I do NOT charge for heat packs, but please let me know if you need one while we are discussing the order as they do add weight to the package.

As always, USPS express shipping is preferred for fish and has a live arrival guarantee if it arrives on time within 24 hours of shipping. All shipping costs are actual based on package size, weight, and zip code. Please email for shipping estimates. I currently accept Paypal, Google Checkout, or Square Up (3.5%service charge).

PRIORITY SHIPPING IS AT YOUR OWN RISK and is only on Monday and Tuesday!! NO EXCEPTIONS! Heat packs only last 72 hours or so, its out of my control at that point.

Express shipping is Monday through Thursday, I prefer to not do guaranteed Saturday shipping because if there is a delay, the package will not be delivered until Monday.

And please remember NO PAYPAL GIFT PAYMENTS!

As always, there are many things I have in my fish room that may not be listed, don't hesitate to ask if you are looking for something I used to carry or are looking for something special.

No m. kubotai yet? D:

msjinkzd 02-16-2012 09:50 PM

I have them, but they are endler fry sized. SUPER DUPER UBER tiny.

Bakuphoon 02-16-2012 09:53 PM

Are you going to let them grow a little bit before you sell them?

msjinkzd 02-16-2012 09:54 PM

Yea, that is the plan. The price I would have to charge is not fair for what is essentially fry.

austinz33 02-16-2012 09:59 PM

Are the Yellow Neocaridnia babies, juveniles or adults?

msjinkzd 02-16-2012 10:01 PM

Adults :) I have pics, but cannot get teh uploader to work well here.
I will try and use an image look from facebook:

Okay, then I will go back to patiently waiting~

I have another question though, about your otos (the regular ones, not zebra). I know you quarantine them but do you also make sure they eat? I'm just asking because I've been trying to get a shoal of 6 in one of my tanks but so far 8 out of 10 of them have died. I think the last two I have left were the only ones actually eating (they've gotten algae wafers and repashy soilent green). I've gotten otos from two different sources, one being petsmart and the other an actual fish shop but they've just been dying. I have a feeling that your otos will be much healthier and I plan to get some whenever you decide to sell the m. kubotai.

msjinkzd 02-16-2012 10:08 PM

Yes, i ahve had the current batch for abotu 4 months. Some are spawning. They are all chubby. I feed a mix of cultured algaes and Repashy Soilent Green. Out of the several thousand I have sold (mostly shipped) there have only been a handful that I nkow of that did not make it.

ElBoltonero 02-16-2012 10:15 PM

Rachel's the only person I'll buy otos from now...she actually understands them and cares correctly for them. The regular ones I got a couple of months ago are still doing fantastic.

msjinkzd 02-16-2012 10:55 PM

Thanks :)

Algae eaters and specialized feeders are a special interest of mine. Because I deal in such bulk, it is especially important to be able to feed them adequately upon import, and leading up to shipping.

2010? Someone's living in the past... Hahaha

Wish my 95G was up and running with my new setup.

msjinkzd 02-16-2012 11:04 PM

bwahaha
i sure am!

Tanman19az 02-17-2012 01:39 AM

Hey Rachel! What's the ETA on the PFRs? I was gonna get some last time but you sold out of them fast! :)

msjinkzd 02-17-2012 02:02 AM

I still have some, but wanted to keep a breeding group. I have a bunch ofbabies growing out and they are breeding readily. I can get more, but it probably won't be for a few weeks :)
