Where are you buying your tanks?? I need one!
Looking for something in the 30-50 gallon range and rimless (preferably starfire). Are you buying your tanks locally or ordering them online?

Rusty18 has a 40g rimless for sale in the swap&shop, and lives just south of 93 according to his post.

Thanks Shortsboy. I checked that out but it's not what i was looking for.
I just want to know where people got their tanks from in MA if they bought them new. 52 people viewed this thread, no one said where they bought their tank. I'm just curious if we have local vendors (Skiptons etc) that carry something like that or do I have to order online. Thanks for your response though!! Appreciate it |
Mine isn't rimless, but I picked it up on Craigslist. There is a solid resale market there, although the one I passed on before is the sole rimless I've seen lately. Otherwise, sorry can't help any more. Good luck in your hunt.

I thought I saw a Deep Blue 60 Gallon rimless (frag tank) at Skiptons last week.

Uncle Neds also had some rimless tanks. You might want to call them. Tropical Isle has some acrylic tanks.
I really want to buy an ADA tank. I am not sure if anyone in MA carries them. |

Try calling tropical isle in Framingham, or Uncle Neds in Millis. I know they have tanks sitting around and I'm pretty sure I've seen rimless at tropical isle also. Other than that, craigslist my friend!

Tropic isle doesn't have any of the long rimless nanos. Just the standard eheim/fluval nano tanks.
While no mr. Aqua, skiptons does have the deep blue 3 gallon long! So pretty that I bought one! Going to try a dirty tank start up for this one. |
Unique Aquria (Skipton's) has the best prices too from what I've seen. They try to keep their prices within a few percent of online pricing (comes out to about the same after taxes and shipping are factored in). Their freshwater and plants are lacking a bit, but the equipment is the lowest I've seen locally.
They have a pretty good selection of DeepBlue. I really like a lot of what they are putting out. I may end up with a DeepBlue tank when I can finally set a reef up. They are making tanks with dimensions that you would only see in custom tanks. There is a lot of room for creativity. |
