mystery snail isn't moving

I'm new to aquariums, and this is my first snail. He is a black mystery snail and is in a 2.5 gallon with a betta and a few ghost shrimp. I got him on the sixth and he hasn't moved since. I know he isn't dead because I checked the trapdoor, but I'd just like to know what's going on.

Just leave him be. This is totally normal for Mystery/Apple Snails. There's lots of info about them here:

they dont move for weeks . dont worry about that .some say they sleep iam not sure about that
