pretty.

Indeed. Every time I see anubias it makes me rethink my planned 'scape, I don't think there's a place for it as it stands now.

Very nice! Isn't that quite a bit of light for a low tech tank?
Are you pleased with the Stealth heater?

Anubias Nana Coffefolia is such a nice plant to have in a tank. Mines however aren't rooted in the driftwood. l'm thinking about archoring them down to the manzanita. How are yours growing so far?

It is a bit much light if you go by watts but watts tends to become a mute point with small tanks. If you look at the # of lumens total it comes out to be low light. I love stealth heaters they are very accurate and blend in very well with black backrounds.

My anubias are growing great in this tank. I have only had it in the tank about a month and have already seen several new leafs.

I set this up six months ago but it just sat empty for a long time with just substrate. It has actually had plants in it for about 2 months.

Very nice!!

I think something in the left corner taller than what you have would create a focal point. Perhaps make a tree with moss on it.

nemosreef 05-18-2010 03:06 AM

Thanks Hilde. I may try something like that.

nemosreef 06-23-2010 01:27 AM

Update: Made some changes. Things have also grown out some. Tell me what you think.

This is a great looking tank. I'm going to set up a low-medium tech 10 gallon soon and am looking for inspiration. Where did you get that light, what brand is it?

nemosreef 08-26-2010 09:28 PM

I bought it from my local fish store. It is a coralife 28watt PC.

kingfisherfleshy 08-29-2010 03:18 AM
